Welcome to Celebrity-Chefs.org.uk

Celebrity ChefsThe first TV Chefs in the UK, were probably Philip Harben and Fanny Craddock from the 1950s and 60s, but the first to become "celebrities*, were undoubtedley The Galloping Gourmet, Graham Kerr, in the 1970s, followed  by the flambouyant Keth Floyd who first appeared regularly on our screens in 1985.

Over the last few years the number of Celbrity Chefs has exploded with the British public developing a growing interest in both cooking at home and eating out at good restaurants..

Watching food programmes, I ofen find I would like to know more about the Chefs involved, but found that there was not one point of information where I could find everything I wanted to know - what experience do they have, where is their restaurant (or restaurants), what books have they written, what other TV programmes are they on, do they have their own website, or even if they Twitter!

So I decided to start Celebrity-Chefs in order to provide the answers to all of those questions in one place. If I have not yet included your favourite chef, drop me an email and I will ensure he (or she) are included.
